Luis Urias Goes 2-For-8 In First Two Rehab Games
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Luis Urias (quadriceps) went 2-for-8 with a double and an RBI in his first two rehab games with Double-A Biloxi over the weekend. Urias opened the regular season on the injured list due to a left quadriceps strain that he suffered in spring training, but he's getting closer to making his 2022 debut with Milwaukee. Jace Peterson, who is hitting just .147 (5-for-34) with no home runs, one RBI and two stolen bases in 14 games, has been the team's primary third baseman with Urias sidelined. Urias might be eased into the hot corner when he returns to the Brewers, but he'll serve as the everyday third baseman when he's healthy this year after hitting .249/.345/.445 with a career-high 23 home runs, 75 RBI and five stolen bases in 150 games for the Brew Crew in 2021.
