Luis Urias Hitless In Debut
6 years agoIn his major league debut, San Diego Padres second baseman Luis Urias went hitless in four plate appearances with a walk. Holding a .296/.398/.447 resume from Triple-A El Paso this season, Urias batted second in his first big league game. As MLB’s No. 22 prospect and considered one of the Padres most polished young hitters, the 21-year-old will have an opportunity to play every day at the keystone and should also see time at shortstop. While he lacks power upside, his bat control could help owners in average and on-base percentage down the stretch. For dynasty league managers, he’s a must-own.
