Luis Urias Slowly Figuring Things Out
5 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Luis Urias went 2-for-3 with a run and RBI Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. Urias provided an RBI single in the fifth inning then scored when his buddy Fernando Tatis Jr. launched a homer two batters later. Since popping his first big league dinger this year on July 29, Urias is riding a five-game hitting streak. While his season slash remains in the doldrums at .138/.309/.200, the 22-year-old is batting .353 during his streak and holds an impressive 12/19 walk-to-strikeout ratio overall. Urias likely won’t help much this fantasy season but remains a top asset in dynasty.
