5 years agoAtlanta Braves closer Luke Jackson struck out two batters and did not allow a baserunner as he picked up his 17th save during a 4-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. The 27-year-old has fared well out of the bullpen this season as he owns a 2.87 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and a 64/18 K/BB rate. He does have six blown saves to his name, but bad luck has had a part to play in a few of those outings. For now, Jackson is the preferred ninth-inning option for the Braves.
