3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday ahead of the contest with the Kansas City Royals. Voit missed about a month of action with a strained oblique but is back in the lineup, starting at first base and batting third against Royals' righty Brady Singer. Voit has played just 12 games this season, recording eight hits and a home run, as injuries have kept the slugger off the field. However, Voit showed what he's fully capable of when healthy during the shortened 2020 campaign, slugging 22 homers in 56 games. Fantasy managers should make sure he's active against Singer, who has pitched to a 4.76 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP this season.--Tim Capurso
