3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Indians. Voit swatted a homer in the eighth inning with the game already out of hand, registering a 105.5 MPH exit velocity on the 403-foot blast. The slugging first baseman has had a quiet September, but has now left the yard twice in the last three games, perhaps a sign of things to come. It's been a disappointing campaign for Voit, who led the majors in homers a year ago.--Tim Capurso
