Luke Voit Homers In Game Two Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit had a strong day Tuesday, going deep in the nightcap against the Boston Red Sox. He went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI, and a run scored in the first game, and 1-for-3 with his sixth home run of the year in the second game, a solo shot off Boston starter Nathan Eovaldi. Voit is now slashing .315/.413/.500 with three homers and 13 RBI over his last 15 games and 54 at-bats, possibly earning him a role greater than that of pinch-hitter when Anthony Rizzo reurns. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on how the playing time shakes out going forward.
