3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit had a big game against the Chicago White Sox Sunday, going 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. It was his fifth home run of the year. The big first baseman appeared to be the odd man out after New York's trade deadline acquisition of Anthony Rizzo, but he's attempting to make the most of his opportunity now that Rizzo is on the COVID list. Voit has been disappointing in his 137 at-bats this season, posting just a .693 OPS. He figures to see greatly reduced playing time once Rizzo returns, and is only borderline rosterable.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
