3 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Luke Voit (biceps) will need another week on his rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso. His biceps has responded well, but the 31-year-old is expected to get a week's worth of at-bats with El Paso to get his timing on track. He is 0-for-6 with a run scored, two walks and two strikeouts through his first two games with the Chihuahuas. "I think he's still looking to find his swing a little bit," Padres bench coach Ryan Christenson said. "I don't think the biceps is an issue anymore. I think after about four or five days of the medicines they have him on; he was already starting to feel better. I think he's very comfortable with where his health is. Right now, I think it's just about him getting down there, getting his at-bats and finding his swing the way he wants to find it, and coming back ready to roll." Voit is slashing .143/.315/.167 with five RBI, five runs and a stolen base over 13 games in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Voit, as the former New York Yankee will look to return in a few weeks.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
