7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Luke Voit was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Friday after not playing any in the two games he was on the major league roster. As long as Jose Martinez has success in the majors, Voit will struggle to have any sort of role. He could hold some value in dynasty leagues as an extra piece in a trade due to his power, but he has no fantasy value in the foreseeable future. Place him on your watch list so that if something happens with Martinez, you can snag Voit before someone else.--Blake Sullivan
