5 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit has been activated from the injured list and will be batting third against the Blue Jays on Saturday, according to MLB.com writer Bryan Hoch. Voit landed on the IL after an abdominal strain suffered during the London series. Voit has already set career highs with 17 home runs and 50 RBI through the first half of the season, and he was hitting .385 over his last 10 games prior to the injury.
