3 years agoSan Diego Padres' first baseman Luke Voit went 3-for-5 with two solo home runs and an additional run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Chicago Cubs. He took Keegan Thompson deep in the second frame and then smashed another homer off Mychal Givens in the seventh inning for his second long ball of the game. San Diego reinstated Voit (biceps) from the injured list on Tuesday. The 31-year-old crushed his first two homers of the season and will turn things around after a rough start to the season. Voit is slashing .184/.349/.327 with two home runs, seven RBI, and nine runs over 15 games in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
