4 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit (knee) is expected to rejoin the team in May, according to manager Aaron Boone. That's in line with Boone's comments when Voit underwent surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus on Monday, and although it's a fairly broad timeline, it's encouraging to hear that Voit will miss less than two months. Fantasy managers should expect Voit to return in the second half of May, and outfielder Jay Bruce will continue to play first base in Voit's absence.--Sam Chinitz
