Luke Weaver Gives Up Four Runs Again
7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Luke Weaver allowed four runs for the second start in a row on Wednesday. He ended up pitching 5 1/3 innings, coughing up nine hits and a walk while striking out four. Weaver took the loss, dropping his record to 3-6. He looked like he was coming out of a slump a few starts ago, but has turned in two very pedestrian-at-best starts since then. He holds a 4.52 ERA on the season and will need to start pitching better to maintain his rotation spot all year.
