3 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones saw time with the second stringers during their second preseason matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. Veteran Cam Newton drew the start and played well during his limited action. Jones completed 13-of-19 passing attempts for 146 yards and one touchdown without an interception in the blowout win. Right now, Newton likely has the upper hand for the starting job in New England. Although, Jones has played well and is not far behind Newton.
