7 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mac Williamson went yard for the third time in five games since his promotion. Williamson had a good a spring and followed that up by hitting .487 with six home runs in Triple-A. Williamson has struggled in his previous stints in the big leagues, but worked with the same hitting coach this summer that helped reshape Justin Turner’s career. If Williamson continues to swing a hot bat, he could keep his job even when Hunter Pence (thumb) returns from a thumb injury.
