The 24-year-old suffered his first regulation defeat of the season at the weekend, which dropped his record to 4-1-1. He boasts a 2.12 goals-against average and an outstanding .938 save percentage. The Sabres have won only five games all season, so Blackwood is in a solid bounce-back spot.
