2 years agoWashington Nationals left-handed pitcher MacKenzie Gore (left elbow inflammation) is expected to begin playing catch on Friday, according to Jessica Camerato of MLB.com. Gore was acquired from San Diego in the Juan Soto trade on Tuesday but hasn't pitched since before then. He was placed on the 15-day injured list on July 26 and is expected to return this season. Gore can be dropped in shallower redraft leagues, but he might return to fantasy relevance sometime in late August or September.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
