5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner improved to 6-7 in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Padres. Bumgarner pitched seven innings, allowing four runs on four hits (including a three-run home run) and two walks with six strikeouts. Bumgarner now has a 3.74 ERA with 140 strikeouts and 29 walks in 139 2/3 IP this season. He has looked strong lately, and with the Giants surging, it will be interesting to see if he stays with the team through the trade deadline.
