6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. He threw 78 pitches among his season-high 114 pitches. In fact, he has set a new season high for pitches in a start in each of his past four outings. MadBum has had some issues with injuries over the past couple of seasons, but he is healthy this season and he has lasted at least six innings in six of his seven starts while posting a 3.92 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. He has just one win in five decisions, but that's a product of poor offensive support and not a lack of solid pitching.--Daniel Dobish
