4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner had a rough outing on Saturday in Colorado, allowing seven runs — five earned — on eight hits with two strikeouts over six innings of work in a 7-6 loss. This was not the performance managers were hoping to see after he exited his last start early due to injury, but it should not have been too much of a surprise after he allowed five runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings in his last start at Coors Field earlier this year. It's been back-to-back rough starts for Bumgarner, but it appears that Coors Field had an impact on him Saturday.
