7 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner (finger) threw 40 pitches on Saturday. Bumgarner is scheduled to throw to hitters on Tuesday before making his first rehab start on Saturday. Bumgarner is scheduled to make at least three rehab starts before being activated from the disabled list. Bumgarner said that he’s “trying to get it going as fast as I can.” MadBum is expected back in mid-June if everything goes according to the plan.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
