3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks pitcher Madison Bumgarner (shoulder) threw another bullpen session on Saturday. He's been sidelined since early June with shoulder inflammation. The former San Francisco Giant threw a 20-pitch bullpen session on Monday and another one Saturday. "Madison Bumgarner (shoulder) threw another bullpen session on Saturday," said manager Torey Lovullo. "He will throw at least one more before taking the next step of facing hitters." Bumgarner is trending in the right direction and could return to the rotation in mid-July. The 31-year-old owns a 5.73 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 62:18 K: BB across 59 2/3 innings in 2021.
