4 years agoMagomed Ankalaev eliminated any controversy this time around, knocking out Ion Cutelaba without controversy in the first round to open up Saturday's main card. Ankalaev landed a big right-left combination that floored Cutelaba before laying on the ground-and-pound, leading to the end of the bout. In just over four minutes of action, Ankalaev landed 21 significant strikes. This has been a rematch long in the making after its controversial ending the first time. The fight was also pushed back multiple times. Now Ankalaev can move forward in the light heavyweight division.
