4 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Maikel Franco had a nice day at the plate in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Red Sox, going 2-for-4 with a single, a three-run home run, four RBI, and a walk. Franco lined a sixth-inning Nick Pivetta breaking ball into the left-field seats for his first HR as an Oriole. The 28-year-old has gotten off to a lackluster start to the season, slashing .229/.325/.371 with nine RBI. Hopefully, he can get things going in the O's next series against a hittable Mariners rotation.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
