5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco hit a game-tying three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth against Mets closer Edwin Diaz. It was his third home run in his past four games as Franco continues to try and force his way into the lineup. Despite the recent success, Franco is still an afterthought in most mixed leagues. His .221 batting average is the lowest of his career and he's only making hard contact at a 33 percent rate. He's also been sitting more this month and typically bats eighth which makes him only a deep league or NL-Only option in fantasy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
