4 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Maikel Franco only had one hit combined in Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mariners, but he made it count. Franco ripped a bases-clearing double down the left-field line in the third inning of Game Two to bring the O's back into the game. Unfortunately, Franco's overall line for the day was 1-for-6 with the double, three RBI, and a strikeout. Franco was a fantasy asset in 2020 and joined the O's late this spring, so he does have a bit of catching up to do. However, fantasy managers can't feel great about his .220 batting average.
