4 years agoIn a middleweight bout, Maki Pitolo defeated Charles Byrd during the UFC prelims. Pitolo outslugged his opponent, landing 33 of his 65 strike attempts, double the amount of Byrd. He also landed 20 significant strikes and connected on all three of his takedown attempts before referee Herb Dean put a stop to things early in the second round. The 29-year-old picked up his first win since falling to Callan Potter at UFC 243 back in October. He was very generously priced in terms of DFS value on Saturday night, so fantasy managers will want to keep him in mind for the next time he steps into the octagon, which could come sometime before the end of 2020.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
