Malcolm Brown Breaks Out
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown rushed 11 times for 53 yards and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. Brown was used early in the game, and running back Todd Gurley racked up 64 of his 97 yards in the fourth quarter. Brown was utilized as the goal-line back, but head coach Sean McVay said that was a matter of rotating the backs. Brown should be owned in all leagues, but this game will likely serve as an aberration. He can be expected to carry 10 or more times, but the two vultured touchdowns aren't sustainable. Brown will be a flex option against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
