Malcolm Brown Has A Shot At Redemption
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown has been invisible since his 11-53-2 breakout in Week 1. He has rushed nine times for 44 yards in two games since then. The Rams play a tough Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense this week that hasn't allowed a score to the position through the first three weeks. The silver lining is that the Rams could beat the Bucs handily. Their aerial attack has been on point, and their usage of starting running back Todd Gurley has been sparse. The Rams have to turn around and play the divisional-rival Seattle Seahawks Thursday night in Week 5. It's unlikely they would run Gurley into the ground with a short week before a more important game. That's where Brown enters the fold. It's a risky play, but if you're thin at the position due to injury, Brown should be considered in your flex spot because of that potential for work.
