Malik Hooker Re-Signs With Dallas
3 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys re-signed safety Malik Hooker to a two-year, $8 million deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Hooker isn't much of an asset in IDP fantasy leagues, but he played well for the Cowboys down the stretch in 2021 and finished with 44 tackles (30 solo), one interception and two passes defensed in 15 regular season games (three starts) for the Cowboys in his first season with the team after spending the first four years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts. The 25-year-old was coming off a torn Achilles that limited him to two games in 2020, so his 2021 performance was extremely encouraging. The former first-round pick should have a full-time role in 2022.
