6 years agoIn his first game back after being recalled from Triple-A, Seattle Mariners outfielder Mallex Smith went yard in his return. He finished the night going 1-for-4 batting ninth in the order, his likely spot in the lineup until he gets his bat going. Smith had a miserable start to 2019 and was sent down in late April to tune in swing after missing most of spring training. Over his 10 games with Tacoma, he hit .333 with seven stolen bases which was encouraging enough for the M's to bring him back. Smith had swiped eight bags in the majors before the demotion, and should still have plenty of fantasy value with his legs even if his bat doesn't repeat his .296 average from 2018. Don't hold your breath for much in the power department, but he should have a home in all roto formats.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
