5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mallex Smith went 1-for-3 with an RBI during the Cactus League win over the Diamondbacks on Friday. Though he struck out swinging twice, he was able to make amends by driving in Sam Haggerty in the top of the 6th during his final at-bat of the day. Smith had a brief stint in AAA in 2019 but turned things around upon his return back to the majors, finishing the year with 46 stolen bases, which was the most in the American League. He will undoubtedly be the first Mariner off the board in the majority of upcoming fantasy drafts.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
