5 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado smacked three home runs over the weekend series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Machado’s 13-game hitting streak ended on Friday but he followed up with a pair of homers on Saturday and went yard again Sunday. The 26-year-old has surged in June, slashing .320/.376/.690 with 11 long balls and 53 runs-plus-RBI. After a sluggish start, Machado now holds a studly .277/.352/.516 with 20 homers, 56 RBI and 51 runs. Back to being a top-25 fantasy star, the buy-low window for Machado is long gone.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
