5 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado concluded a successful series in Coors Field, going 10-for-19 (.526 average) with three homers and 16-runs-plus-RBI. The huge weekend at altitude was much-needed salve for bruised Machado fantasy owners who have surely been disappointed in his performance to-date. The 26-year-old raises his slash to .261/.343/.448 after the four-game series with 13 homers and 80 runs-plus-RBI. While his numbers are far from gaudy, Machado’s talent has never been questioned.
