3 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado (shoulder) is expected back for the weekend series against the Houston Astros. Out since May 20, Machado has been doing baseball activities all week and roped a pinch-hit RBI double Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The 28-year-old has slashed just .228/.324/.401 this season with six homers, six steals and 51 runs-plus-RBI in 187 plate appearances but his return should be welcomed for all fantasy managers.
