4 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado finished 2-for-4 with two homers, four RBI and a steal Friday against the Seattle Mariners. Machado launched a three-run blast off starter Yusei Kikuchi in the fourth frame and punctuated his big evening with a solo shot in the ninth. The 28-year-old continues his torrid run and has overtaken teammate Fernando Tatis Jr. as the Friars bid for NL MVP. A fantasy steal this offseason, Machado owns a brilliant .318/.382/.621 slash with 16 homers, six steals and 86 runs-plus-RBI across 225 plate appearances. He’ll command a premium next draft season as fantasy’s top option at the hot corner.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
