3 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado launched a three-run homer Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers as part of a three-hit night. He also stole his eighth bag of the season. Machado made things easy for the Friars, taking starter Julio Urias deep in the first inning in the eventual 6-2 victory. The 28-year-old is currently enjoying a seven-game hitting streak, batting .440 (11-for-25) with six extra-base hits while posting a .975 OPS in June. Overall, Machado has endured an uneven season, slashing .258/.340/.459 with 11 homers, eight steals and 83 runs-plus-RBI over 282 plate appearances. Still hitting the ball extremely hard, fantasy managers should keep the faith that Machado will retain his reputation as an all-around contributor.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
