7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Manny Pina (calf) was out doing pre-game base running with the Brewers athletic crew on Friday. Pina was placed on the 10-day disabled list on April 16 with calf tightness, and since then has been trying to get some running work in to recover. Brewers manager Craig Counsell said that they don't really have a schedule since his only issue is running, and when he gets that ability back, he will play. He is eligible to be activated from the DL next Monday, so stay tuned to see what will happen. In the meantime, Jett Bandy will get a majority of the starts with Jacob Nottingham backing him up.--Caden Inaba
