7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Manny Pina (calf) has uncertainty in his injury return, as he is currently having trouble running the bases, according to Brewers manager Craig Counsell. Pina is eligible to be activated on Monday, April 23, however, there is no certain way to know whether he will be ready. Pina will do a baserunning test this weekend to see if he will be eligible to return. While Pina is absent from the lineup, Jett Bandy and Jacob Nottingham will take the duties behind the plate for now. At max, it's hard to see Pina being out for much longer than his projected 10-day disabled list stint.--Caden Inaba
