3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot went 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored during Friday's 10-6 win over the Orioles. It was his first multi-hit effort since July 5, and he's now reached base in four straight contests. The 26-year-old is slashing .253/.299/.392 with nine home runs, 46 RBI, 33 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases over 83 games in 2021. Rays' star outfielder Randy Arozarena was placed on the COVID-19 list Friday. Margot was splitting time in right field with Kevin Kiermaier and Brett Phillips, but should see every day at-bats while Arozarena is out.
