4 years agoThe Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday night to take a 3-0 lead in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Marc-Andre Fleury, starting just his second game in the bubble, was sharp in stopping 26 of 27 shots. Alex DeBrincat was kept off the score sheet despite eight shots and multiple high-quality opportunities. It was Chicago defenseman Olli Maatta who found the back of the net against Fleury. For Vegas, William Karlsson opened the scoring in the game with a short-handed goal. Patrick Brown, playing in just his second game with Vegas, won the game with his first career post-season goal. Paul Stastny was unfit to play while Max Pacioretty returned to the lineup after missing Game 2. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
