5 years agoIt looked like the Cardinals had something going in the ninth with Paul Goldschmidt and Marcell Ozuna on first and second with just one out. Mark Melancon then decided to go into shutdown mode, striking out Yadier Molina and Kolten Wong to give the Braves the win. It closed off a shutout for the Braves, which they needed after an embarrassing game one loss. The series is now tied up 1-1 and moving back to St. Louis. Melancon should have a few more save opportunities in this series.--RotoBaller
