Marc Methot Out For The Season After Knee Surgery
6 years agoDallas Stars defenseman Marc Methot (knee) will miss the remainder of the 2018-19 season after having knee surgery to repair the cartilage in his left knee. He had successful surgery in Chicago on Monday. It's a big reason why the Stars went out on Monday and traded for a familiar face in Jamie Oleksiak from the Pittsburgh Penguins, as Oleksiak will essentially take Methot's roster spot. Methot ended a disappointing season scoreless with a minus-3 rating in just nine uneventful games.
