Marcedes Lewis Has Sleeper Value As Red-Zone Threat In Wild-Card Round
7 years agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis will be a red-zone threat this Saturday when the Jaguars take on the Bills. Lewis only has 24 receptions this season, but five of those have gone for touchdowns. This week he will take on a Bills defense that has allowed the 14th most fantasy points to tight ends this season. They have been torched twice recently by the Patriots' Rob Gronkowski and have allowed two touchdown catches to tight ends over their last three games. The Jaguars will try and play conservatively on offense, and Lewis could see some targets in short-yardage situations. There will be better tight ends active in fantasy this weekend, but Lewis has sleeper value as a touchdown-dependent option.
