4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder/designated hitter Marcell Ozuna has continued his excellent production in the hard hit department during 2020. Ozuna has amassed a 49.3 Hard Hit %, which ranks him the top nine percentile in the Majors. His Statcast metrics fall right in line with his career averages, while many -- such as his xSLG, which sits at .550 -- exceed those marks. The last time that Ozuna was an All-Star was 2017, when he finished the year with a .924 OPS. His OPS through his first 27 games this year? .924. Despite his rising production, he’ll have two off-days next week and face Gerrit Cole in one of the games, so owners may want to tap into backup plans in the short term. But long-term, Ozuna remains an above average commodity that should be rostered with confidence in every format.--Jesse Borek
