4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna (hand) dislocated his middle and ring fingers on his left hand while sliding into third base on Tuesday night, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Ozuna will return to Atlanta on Wednesday to meet with a specialist to make sure there is no further damage that occurred. O'Brien adds that the team is hopeful he will only need to miss a few games and will not require a stint on the injured list. Obviously it's not great news for Ozuna, but it looks like managers may have dodged a bullet here.
