6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Marcell Ozuna had quite the day on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs. Ozuna had three hits, one of which was a grand slam. He has been struggling all year long, but looked like he was coming out of his slump for good in June. It didn't last, because in July he has hit just .215. The Cardinals desperately need Ozuna to be the guy they thought they were bringing in. He has shown flashes of what he did last year, but hasn't been able to put it all together. The Cardinals cleared house with several of the coaches being fired including manager Mike Matheny. Hopefully the change in culture and his solid performance Saturday will spark a fire in Ozuna. Owners shouldn't give up hope just yet.--Blake Sullivan
