7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marco Estrada will look to get back on the right foot against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night after struggling in his last three starts. In those starts against the Red Sox, Yankees and Orioles, Estrada has allowed 14 earned runs in 14 innings pitched. The encouraging numbers here are that he struck out 14 over those games while walking only five. The best news here, though, is that the Twins are a decidedly different animal than the aforementioned three clubs. Minnesota ranks 28th overall in runs scored, but somehow ranks 16th in OPS. Still, if Estrada was going to turn things around, Tuesday would be the night.--John Smith
