Marco Gonzales Allows Two Homers In No-Decision Friday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales allowed two home runs Friday against the Angels, including a monstrous shot by Shohei Ohtani, but was fortunate to only escape having allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk in 5 2/3 innings while striking out three. He took a no-decision in the contest. Gonzales has simply not settled in this year, posting a 5.88 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 56 2/3 innings. Most of his value was meant to come from his strong ratios, so fantasy managers are surely disappointed, and could fairly look to other options.
